Murder trial set to begin Tuesday in Moncks Corner
The trial for the man accused of shooting and killing another man in Moncks Corner in 2011 is scheduled to begin tomorrow morning.
Opening statements are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Ricardo Mendoza, 30, is accused of murdering 32-year-old Edwin Velasquez-Rodriguez, also known as Omar Rodriguez on May 21, 2011. Rodriguez was found shot in his vehicle on Fairground Road in Park City Mobile Home Park in Moncks Corner.
