Ridgeville man dies in single-vehicle wreck

A 34-year-old Ridgeville man was fatally injured early today in a single-vehicle wreck in Berkeley County.

Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury said Keith Richardson was traveling on Nash Road about 2:20 a.m. when he drove off the road and into a tree.

Richardson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene, Salisbury said. The death has been ruled accidental. The collision was investigated by the Coroner’s Office and the S.C. Highway Patrol.
