Berkeley Country Club advised to boil water before drinking

Following a water main rupture, Berkeley County Water & Sanitation has issued a boil water advisory for its customers in the Berkeley Country Club subdivision in Moncks Corner.

Resident are advised to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, and making ice prior to use. Water should be boiled for at least a minute at a vigorous, rolling boil.

The water company will be testing water samples following repairs to the ruptured line, but results aren’t expected until Sunday. The advisory is in effect until further notice.
