A broken Charleston Water System line has closed one lane of Cosgrove Avenue in North Charleston near Rivers Avenue.

The broken 6-inch water line is underneath Cosgrove Avenue at Lenape Street. The break was discovered at about 3:30 p.m.

A spokeswoman for the water company said crews are on scene to make repairs, and the break should only affect a small number of customers in the immediate area. No boil-water advisory has been issued.
