Shots fired at house on Charleston’s East Side
A Charleston man was arrested Wednesday after an East Side resident said somebody fired shots at his house.
The shots were reported about 2 a.m. Saturday. Police found two shotgun shell casings outside 101 Alexander St. and two shotgun blasts to the house, according to the incident report. One round penetrated the front door and the other hit about 2 feet to the right of the door.
Three people were inside the house, but nobody was injured, according to the report.
Officers saw marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the house, according to the report. No drug charges have been filed, although the investigation continues, police spokesman Charles Francis said.
Jackson Glenn Hollis, 20, of Coming Street was arrested Wednesday night and charged with discharging a firearm.
