Wind advisory in effect, highs in the mid 50s today

A wind advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. today, the National Weather Service said.

Partly cloudy skies this morning will become mostly sunny in the afternoon.

Highs will be in the mid 50s with lows in the upper 30s. West winds will be from 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

Thursday: Sunny skies are expected with highs about 60 with lows in the upper 30s. Northwest winds will be from 10 to 15 mph.

Friday: Sunny skies are expected with highs in the low 60s and lows in the upper 30s. North winds will be from 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
