Sen. Tim Scott opening Lowcountry office

U.S. Sen. Tim Scott will open his new Lowcountry office tomorrow on the third floor of North Charleston City Hall.

The office is designed to help Lowcountry residents who need some sort of assistance dealing with the federal bureaucracy.

Scott, who was sworn in as senator earlier this year, won’t be present at tomorrow’s opening but will hold some sort of ceremony there in the near future.

“Our commitment remains to provide South Carolinians with top notch constituent service,” he said in a statement. His offices in Columbia and Greenville also are set to open tomorrow. The Lowcountry office can be reached at (843) 554-9253
