SC job fair hosts employers, veteran job seekers
COLUMBIA — Fort Jackson and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are scheduled to host a job fair for military veterans, members of the National Guard and Reserve, and their spouses.
Tuesday’s event is to be held at the Solomon Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the military installation near Columbia.
A veterans’ network transition assistance program is being offered beginning at 9 a.m.
Mentoring sessions are being run by employed veterans on resume building, resume writing, networking and interviewing techniques.
