Folly Beach erosion questions to be answered

FOLLY BEACH — Beach erosion can-dos and can’t-dos will be discussed tonight at a question and answer session for residents at City Hall.

The beach is severely eroded in spots with the delay in federal money for sand renourishment.

Representatives from the S.C. Ocean and Coastal Resource Management and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be on hand as well as city staff. Mayor Tim Goodwin will moderate. The session takes place 6:30-8:30 p.m. at City Hall, 21 Center St. For more information contact 588-2447.
