Teen suspected of six West Ashley burglaries surrenders to Charleston police

A 14-year-old boy suspected of six burglaries in a West Ashley neighborhood surrendered to police today.

The burglaries were reported on Windmill Creek Road and Ammersee Court in Village Green between Nov. 30, 2012, and Feb. 27, according to Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis.

The boy is accused of stealing a desktop computer, a laptop computer, a camera and an iPod. All of the stolen items have been recovered, Francis said.

The boy was released into the custody of his parents.
