CLEMSON - Clemson knew it was not going to be easy against North Carolina on Thursday, a challenge that was made nearly impossible when top athlete K.J. McDaniels went down with an ankle injury in shoot-around.

McDaniels missed the game and Clemson fell to UNC, 68-59.

Devin Booker scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Milton Jennings added 12 points but no other Tiger player scored more than six points as Clemson fell below .500 (13-14, 5-10 ACC) on the season.

Clemson struggled with turnovers and allowed UNC to shoot nearly 40 percent from 3. Dexter Strickland led North Carolina with 16 points.
