Mayor Riley to acknowledge MUSC’s eco-friendly efforts
Charleston Mayor Joe Riley wants check out how the Medical University of South Carolina is going green.
The Mayor and MUSC President Ray Greenberg will tour the campus this afternoon to check out its eco-friendly features.
The tour will be followed by the Charleston Green Business Challenge Awards ceremony.
Sponsored by the City, the awards encourage local groups “to improve the performance of commercial and institutional buildings and their operations through reducing energy and water consumption, and waste reduction.”
