Summerville woman scores $200,000 in Lottery
A $2 Lottery ticket purchased on a grocery run has netted a Summerville woman $200,000.
She purchased the winning quick-pick ticket at Mr. K Piggly Wiggly 130 at 1605 Central Ave. in Summerville, according to S.C. Education Lottery officials. The winning numbers were drawn Feb. 19.
Lottery officials did not reveal the winner’s name. But they said she called her husband first to tell him that her eight years of playing Palmetto Cash 5 had finally paid off.
For selling the ticket, Mr. K Piggly Wiggly 130 received a commission of $2,000.
The odds of winning $200,000 are one in 1,003,884, Lottery officials said.
