Groups interested in serving breakfast and lunch to children this summer are encouraged to apply through Charleston County School District.

The federal Summer Food Service Program provides free meals to children in areas with a significant concentration of low-income students.

The district will be running its program from June 10 through Aug. 9, and applications to become one of those sites can be found on the district’s website, www.ccsdschools.com.
