Paralyzed golfer’s marathon rescheduled to March 5
Partially paralyzed golfer Fred Gutierrez’s plans for the 36-hole For the Glory of God Golf Marathon have been postponed until March 5. Gutierrez had planned to play 36 holes today at Summerville Country Club to raise funds for Gifting Warriors giftingwarriors.org and and to increase awareness of the benefits of Botox and acupuncture for stroke victims.
Gutierrez, who suffers from partial paralysis on his left side because of a gunshot wound in 1996, began playing golf again a couple of years ago.
