Three hurt in Ladson head-on collision

A driver was airlifted with serious injuries after a two-vehicle accident at Ladson and Lincolnville roads tonight.

A Chevrolet Suburban crossed the center line on a curve on Lincolnville Road near Ladson Road and hit a Toyota sedan going in the opposite direction about 8:12 p.m., Charleston County Sheriff’s Maj. Jim Brady said.

The driver of the Toyota was airlifted with serious injuries, and a passenger was transported with injuries not consider life threatening.

The driver of the Suburban was transported with possible injuries.

Deputies shut down both roads near the intersection during the investigation.
