Cloudy skies, highs in the mid 50s today

Potential hazardous weather is expected for the Lowcountry today. The National Weather Service issued a small craft advisory until 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The Lowcountry will see cloudy skies with a near 100 percent chance of showers tonight, the Weather Service said.

Highs will be in the mid 50s with lows about 50. Northeast winds are expected to reach 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

Tuesday: Cloudy skies with a near 100 percent chance of showers. Highs will be about 70 with lows in the upper 40s. Southwest winds will be from 15 to 20 mph.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid 60s and lows about 40. Southwest wind swill be from 10 to 15 mph.
