Eagle Nest Elementary finalist for award
The School Improvement Council at Eagle Nest Elementary is one of five statewide named finalists for the annual Dick and Tunky Riley Award for School Improvement Council Excellence.
The award was created by the S.C. School Improvement Council in 2002 to recognize the contributions made to public education by the nearly 15,000 members who volunteer in the state’s 1,100-plus K-12 public schools.
Other finalists are Beck Academy Middle, Greenville County Schools; Brushy Creek Elementary, Greenville County Schools; North Augusta High, Aiken County Public School District; and Richland Northeast High, Richland School District 2.
The winner will be selected from this year’s finalists and announced at the SC-SIC Annual Meeting on March 23 in Columbia.
