DHEC searching for kids to promote healthy eating, activity

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control is looking for children throughout the state who champion the importance of being healthy and staying active in their communities.

In the past, members of the All-Health team have built school gardens, planned healthy eating policies and promoted biking and walking,

The deadline to apply for a spot on the team is March 15. Visit the health department’s website for more details.
