Willis Hall scored 18 points and Adjehi Baru added 13 points and 11 rebounds as the College of Charleston beat Georgia Southern, 69-60, Saturday afternoon at TD Arena.
The Cougars improved to 19-8 and 11-4 in the Southern Conference. The Eagles fell to 11-16 and 5-9. The Cougars avenged a 51-47 loss to Georgia Southern back on Jan. 17.
The Cougars were up by as many as 23 points in the second half, but had to hold off a furious rally as the Eagles went on an 18-0 run in the final six minutes of the game.
Anthony Stitt finished with 11 points and four assists for the Cougars.
Eric Ferguson led the Eagles with 22 points.
