MUSC appoints Charleston attorney to board
The Medical University of South Carolina has named David Pearlman to its Board of Visitors.
Pearlman, an attorney and partner at the Charleston-based Steinburg Law Firm, has been distinguished “among the Best Lawyers in America” since 2005, according to a release issued by the medical university.
Board of Visitors members are “nominated by the trustees of the university and serve as ambassadors in their respective regions,” the release explains.
This is the second appointment to the board that the medical university has announced this week. Sullivan’s Island resident Paul Kohlheim will also join as a new member.
