The Southeastern Wildlife Exposition kicked off DockDog competitions this morning at Brittlebank Park.

A crowd cheered on their favorite dogs as they chased frisbees and chew toys through the air and dove into two 30,000 gallon tanks at the park.

The dogs and their owners are vying for the farthest distance jumped, among other feats.

Meanwhile, attendees listened to live music and perused exhibits in various tents overlooking the Ashley River.

The DockDog competition will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
