Bustos to run again for mayor
MOUNT PLEASANT — Former Town Councilman Joe Bustos said today he will try again for mayor here.
Bustos is expected to run against current Mayor Billy Swails, who already announced he will seek a second four-year term, and possibly others.
The town’s election isn’t until Nov. 5, but Bustos, who lost to Swails in 2009, said he needs to crank up his campaign soon.
“This is going to be an uphill climb,” he said.
