South Carolina Gamecocks’ baseball season-opener sold out

Opening Day at Carolina Stadium between South Carolina and Liberty is sold out.

The USC ticket office announced Wednesday afternoon that all tickets for Friday’s season-opening baseball game have been sold. Carolina Stadium’s capacity is 8,242.

First pitch for Friday’s game is 3 p.m. Standing room only tickets are still available for Saturday and Sunday. Both games start at 1:30 p.m.

South Carolina set a record this year for season tickets with a total of 5,835 sold.
