A Charleston County airport panel will meet at 9:30 a.m. Friday to discuss the selection of a managing underwriter for revenue bonds to pay for the $200 million makeover of Charleston International Airport’s aging terminal.

The Bond Committee of Charleston County Aviation Authority will meet in the board room at the airport to talk about the firm that will oversee the $170 million bond issue.

Former judge Larry Richter chairs the committee. Mount Pleasant Mayor Billy Swails, North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pryor and businessman Mallory Factor also sit on the committee.

Their decision will go to the full airport board for consideration.
