NASCAR truck driver Sean Corr will visit patients and sign autographs today during a stop at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center.

Empire Racing LLC and Warriors In The Workplace will make a pit stop on their Restore-Recover-Renew Tour to Daytona Beach, Fla., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of VA’s National Salute to Veteran Patients celebration.

Corr competes in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and is making stops at several VA hospitals and military installations as the New York-based team makes its way south to Daytona Beach.

Empire Racing will be joined on the tour by Military1, a free online resource whose mission is to provide active military personnel with critical information and resources to help save lives and increase national security.

Warriors In The Workplace’s badge will grace the hood of Empire Racing’s No. 82 Ford race entries. The mission of this nonprofit veterans hiring initiative is to help restore, empower and renew hope for veterans as they look to transition from a military career to a rewarding and sustaining career within the civilian sector.
