James Island stabbing victim, suspect identified
The woman who was stabbed to death on James Island on Sunday night has been publicly identified.
She was Tasha Lucia, 25, who lived in the apartment on Encampment Court where she was found dead of stab wounds, according to the Charleston County Coroner’s Office.
Her Facebook page lists her as a Charleston native, 2005 graduate of James Island Charter High School and a bartender at Locklear’s Beach City Grill.
Police found her dead in a bedroom about 5 p.m. Sunday.
Charleston police also identified a man they considered a suspect and took into custody Sunday.
Robert T. Kronsberg, 30, who lives at the apartment, was charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. He is being held in the Charleston County jail.
According to incident report, police found Lucia lying on a bedroom floor with wounds to her head and chest. They found Kronsberg sleeping in a bed in a front bedroom, shirtless, with blood on his chest and abdomen and a 3-inch vertical laceration on his left wrist. Medics were called to bandage him and take him to the Medical University Hospital emergency room before he was booked into jail.
