But no doubt the Cougars fit better into CAA basketball attendance figures.

The College of Charleston ranks first in SoCon home basketball attendance with a 3,908 average. Davidson is second at 3,513.

The SoCon home attendance average is 2,057.

The College of Charleston would be third if plugged into current CAA attendance rankings, behind Old Dominion (6,577) and George Mason (5,151).

The CAA home attendance average is 3,004.

The College of Charleston will join the CAA next year.
