SUMMERVILLE — Northwood standout Amber Campbell became just the ninth girl in state history to reach the 3,000-point mark in a career tonight in a 48-45 loss to Pinewood. Campbell, who entered the game with a 31.8 scoring average, needed 20 to join the elite sorority. She hit a free throw with 4:01 left in the game to reach 3,000. She finished with 25 points and is at 3,005 points heading into Tuesday's regular-season finale against Ashley Hall.
