Moncks Corner police are searching for two men accused of firing shots that hit two people and grazed a third on Tuesday.

Trenton Rashad Major, 23, of Jingo Circle, and Darnell Quintin Reid, 21, of Gulledge Street, are wanted on an attempted-murder charge, police Lt. Michael Roach said. Reid is wanted on an additional first-degree burglary charge.

Both men are accused of firing shots that struck several homes and injured three people, Roach said. Major and Reid are considered armed and dangerous, he said.

Police responded to Wall Street at about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday following reports of numerous shots fired in the area, an incident report states.

Paramedics took two people to Trident Medical Center with gunshot wounds to the upper left thigh and the lower right leg, according to the report.

A bullet grazed a third person on the hand.

That person was treated and released at the scene, the report said.

Police have not identified the injured people or any witnesses to the shooting.

Investigators determined that an argument between Major, Reid and two of the injured people triggered the shooting, Roach said.

The third person was not a part of the argument, but was grazed by a stray bullet, Roach said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Major and Reid is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
