Comcast drops gun shop ads

Comcast cable company evidently has become the latest advertising outlet to further restrict gun sale promotions.

A North Charleston advertising group has been notified the local Comcast franchise no longer will accept any ads for a Sangaree gun shop, according to a revised guideline provided The Post and Courier.

A Comcast spokesman said the decision was made consistent with longstanding NBC policies.
