North Charleston police officer hospitalized after wreck
A North Charleston police officer remained hospitalized today after being involved in a single-vehicle wreck Thursday night, police spokesman Spencer Pryor said.
The officer was being treated for non-life threatening injuries at the Medical University of South Carolina, Pryor said.
The incident, which appears to be weather-related, occurred at Dorchester Road and Industrial Drive while the officer was responding to a call.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck.
