A second arrest has been made in the shooting death of a young man who was visiting his girlfriend in rural Berkeley County a few days after Christmas.
Deandre Cleveland, 21, of Omega Drive in Pineville is charged with accessory after the fact to murder. He was arrested last week and is being held in the Berkeley County jail on $240,000 bail, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Dan Moon said today.
Bradley Blake, 21, of St. Stephen was killed Dec. 27 outside his girlfriend’s house on Willowood Road in the Pineville community.
Devonte Gaillard, 18, of Echo Lane in Pineville, was arrested and charged with murder the next day.
Cleveland is accused of loaning Gaillard the murder weapon and then selling the gun when he learned it had been used in a crime, Moon said.
