GOOSE CREEK — Ten Goose Creek football players signed scholarships this morning, capping careers that included a state championship and a 26-game winning streak.

Tramel Terry, already enrolled at Georgia, did not take part in the National Signing Day ceremony.

All-Lowcountry selection Gerald Turner signed with the South Carolina Gamecocks, Mike Myers signed with East Carolina and Jalen Stevens signed with the University of Connecticut.

“These guys went 40-2 in their careers,” Goose Creek coach Chuck Reedy said. “They leave here with quite a legacy.”

The other Gators who signed include Rashard Alston, Newberry; Dylan Steele, Brevard, Rodney Garrett, Brevard, Maleik Ravenell, Chowan and DeShawn Evans, Arizona Western.
