Brown among 7 Wando football players to sign scholarships

MOUNT PLEASANT — The Wando Warriors had the best regular season in the football team’s history with a 10-1 record, and there was plenty of talent on the team, including seven seniors who signed scholarships this morning.

Heading up the cast was Rudder Brown, a 6-4 wide receiver who signed with The Citadel. He caught 51 passes for 857 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Other players who signed include Chris Rouse, Wofford; Stephen Wilson, Presbyterian; Austin Fister, Tusculum; Nate Wright, Tusculum; RaShawn Brown, North Greenville and Chris Leslie, Limestone.
