Eight arrested on drug charges at house in downtown Charleston

Eight people were arrested today in a drug bust at a house in downtown Charleston.

William Bernard Adams, 36, Eric Lamont Bowens, 38, Thomas Alphonzo Gilliard, 58, Irene Dalena Green, 39, Cori Devon Jones, 38, Edward Davis Rivers, 38, Anthony Frasier-Smith, 29, and De Angelo Lamone Watson, 40, were all arrested at 56 Cypress St. and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine base, according to Charleston police and jail records.

They were being processed at the Charleston County jail tonight, and more information was not immediately available.
