Three key Clemson recruiting targets will make televised announcements Wednesday
CLEMSON - Signing day will hold significant drama for the Clemson football staff as three key prospect targets - all ranked in ESPNU’s top 150 - will make televised announcements.
Clemson’s top target - five-star rated defensive tackle Montravius Adams - will make his college choice at 9 a.m. on ESPNU. Clemson and Georgia are considered favorites.
He would be considered the top prospect in Clemson’s class if he signs.
One of the nation’s top cornerback prospects, Mackensie Alexander, ESPN’s No. 4 overall prospect, will choose between Auburn, Clemson, Mississippi State, Texas A&M at 11 a.m. on ESPNU.
Clemson needs help in its defensive backfield.
ESPN’s No. 125 overall prospect, guard Tyrone Crowder, will choose between Clemson and Georgia at 4 p.m. on ESPNU.
Clemson’s class ranks 20th at Rivals.com and is ranked 18th in the country by Scout.com.
