Students to learn STEMS at College of Charleston
More than 1,000 students from across the Lowcountry are expected at the TD Arena at the College of Charleston today to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics programs.
Afterward, they’ll cheer on the College of Charleston Women’s Basketball team in their game against the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
“Events like this are meant to energize and excite these students about the opportunities that exist for them and to help them to prepare for the challenges they will meet,” said Jim Deavor, Associate Dean of the School of Sciences and Mathematics.
