Cruise conference begins Wednesday

The international symposium on cruise ships and historic communities will begin Wednesday evening at Charleston’s Francis Marion Hotel, and there is still space for those who would like to attend part or all of three-day event.

The symposium is being organized by groups concerned about the ships’ impact on historic port cities but also has some consultants to the industry taking part.
