March for Babies fundraiser kicks off Tuesday in Charleston
The March of Dimes’ annual March for Babies campaign kicks off Tuesday.
Supporters will meet at noon Tuesday at Trident Medical Center to pick up fund-raising materials, learn more about the March of Dimes 75th anniversary and meet the ambassador family that will represent the March of Dimes in the Charleston area. Top fund-raisers for 2012 will also be recognized.
The March for Babies is April 27 at Cannon Park. The march raises money for research to help prevent premature birth and birth defects, as well as for community programs that help mothers have full-term pregnancies.
