Going to be a bright sun shiny day
Forecasters expect this afternoon to be sunny and clear, with highs in the upper 50s.
There will be east winds around 5 mph, becoming south later in the day, according to the official forecast from the National Weather Service’s Charleston office.
Tonight should be mostly clear at first, then partly cloudy with lows in the upper 30s and southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
The forecast calls for another sunny day tomorrow, with highs around 60 and west winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Sunday night should be mostly clear, with lows in the lower 30s, except in the mid 30s near the coast. The rest of the week is forecast to be mostly clear, with highs in the 50s and 60s and lows in the 40s and 30s. There is no precipitation in the forecast until Thursday, when there is a 20 percent chance of showers.
