Police arrested Christopher Taylor, 38, of Rivers Avenue, and charged him with pointing a firearm and second-degree assault and battery by mob, jail records show.

North Charleston police on Wednesday arrested a man who they say pointed a gun at another man’s head.

Police arrested Christopher Taylor, 38, of Rivers Avenue, in connection with the incident. He was charged with pointing a firearm and second-degree assault and battery by mob, jail records show.

Officers arrived at Masters Inn, 6100 Rivers Avenue, about 2:24 p.m. and saw a man standing in the parking lot in front of room 305, an incident report states.

The man told police that another man inside the room had pointed a gun at his head.

Officers approached the room and yelled for the suspect to come out of the room, but he did not comply, the report states.

The man opened the door a few minutes later and took multiple items out of his pockets, including a yellow razor, the report states.

The man also took off his shirt and shoes before being placed under arrest, police said.

Taylor was held at the Charleston County jail to await a bond hearing.
