Patriots Point has brought in more money than expected during its first six months and is on track for a sizable surplus.
Revenues for the first six months at the naval and maritime museum in Mount Pleasant are 10 percent higher than the same period in 2011.
The tourist attraction on the edge of Charleston Harbor could see $1 million in additional revenue when its budget year ends in June, Executive Director Mac Burdette said.
