Pinewood Preparatory School has announced the creation of the Academic Merit Scholarship Program.
The program is open to rising ninth- and 10th-graders who exhibit high academic achievement and strong leadership potential.
“Pinewood is noted for its high academic achievement,” said Pinewood Head of School Steve Mandell. “The Merit Scholarship Program will provide the region’s most exceptional students the opportunity to launch their college career here.”
Recipients can receive an award of up to 50 percent of the annual tuition fee. A limited number of scholarships are available.
Applications are being accepted for the scholarship program, and they are available on the school’s website, www.pinewoodprep.com, or at the school’s main office. The school is at 1114 Orangeburg Road, Summerville.The deadline for applications is March 1.
