Citadel awarded Google grant for Engineering Week
The Citadel School of Engineering has received a $14,500 Google Community Grant from the Google Inc. Charitable Giving Fund at Tides Foundation.
The grant will be used to support various programs during Engineering Week, which runs February 16-23.
Each year, The Citadel hosts an engineering event that serves as an outreach program for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, and is open to the general public. The events offer an opportunity for future engineers to gain a deeper understanding of the profession, and for the community to come to The Citadel and learn about engineering.
