Temperatures to warm up a bit, showers expected this week
Temperatures are expected to warm up a bit early this week, with highs reaching the 70s, but it will be followed by showers and possible thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.
The week is expected to end chilly again with low temperatures dipping into the 30s.
Today and tomorrow, temperatures will remain mild with highs in the mid 60s and lows reaching the 50s tomorrow with mostly cloudy skies. You can also expect some patchy fog tomorrow morning.
Wednesday, there is a 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon and wind gusts could reach up to 40 mph.
The chances of rain increase on Wednesday night, with a 70 percent chance of rain and slight chance of thunderstorms.
Thursday, the rain should clear up, but the skies are expected to remain partly cloudy.
On Friday and the rest of the weekend, clear skies are expected and the temperatures should drop with lows reaching the upper 30s and high temperatures reaching the 50s.
