Richard I. Eisenstadt has been named chief financial officer of Ridgeville-based ArborGen, where he is responsible for the finance, treasury and investor-relations functions. He also is an executive business partner to CEO Andrew Baum. Eisenstadt has more than 30 years of finance experience in the health care, life sciences and emerging technology industries. Previously, he was CFO of Tranzyme Pharma. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in business administration from James Madison University.
Chemical
Stacy Jordahl has been named vice president for oilfield chemicals and biochemicals technologies at MWV Specialty Chemicals in North Charleston. Previously, he was vice president for pine chemicals. He has been with company since 1999 and has worked in sales, sales management, and business development roles.
Engineering
John Mistak has joined URS Corp. as an electrical project engineer in the North Charleston office. He has 10 years of experience in nuclear plant and facility operations, system engineering, design and construction. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering degree from Youngstown State University.
Health care
Dr. Elizabeth K. Milliron has joined Coastal Pediatric Associates as a physician. She has a medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and is board certified in pediatrics.
Law
Neil E. Alger has joined Mount Pleasant-based Pearce Law Firm LLC as an associate attorney. He has a law degree from Charleston School of Law.
Also, Meredith E. L. Lacour has joined the firm as assistant closer.
Jana B. Baker and William Warnock of Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice LLP’s Charleston office have been named partners in the firm.
Baker focuses her practice on commercial litigation and real estate litigation. She has a bachelor’s degree in history from Washington University and a law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Warnock practices in business and construction litigation. He has a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University and a law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School.
Photography
Kate Wichlinski of the Michael Mitchell Gallery has joined The Charleston Center for Photography as an instructor in film and digital media techniques. She has a bachelor’s degree in art history and a master’s degree in photography, both from the University of Memphis.
Real estate
Bruce McMillan has joined Carolina One Real Estate as an agent based in the firm’s Coleman Boulevard office in Mount Pleasant. Previously, he owned owned and operated McMillan Painting and Construction for 12 years. He also has more than 15 years of restaurant management experience.
Mike Ferrer has joined the Charleston office of Lincoln Harris as vice president of industrial and office brokerage. Previously, he was with the Mount Pleasant office of Avision Young. He has a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University.
Remodeling
David Forbes, Justin Tapp and Abby Hartmann have joined Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling of Greater Charleston.
Forbes is an estimator and project manager.
He has seven years of experience, and he previously was with a Paul Davis office in Florida. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the College of Charleston.
Tapp is a project manager. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and a law degree from Charleston School of Law.
Hartman is administrative assistant.
Her previous experience includes professional stage management in the theater industry and facilities management.
