Man shot, killed near his home in Anderson
ANDERSON, S.C. -- Authorities are investigating the death of a man shot less than a mile from his own Anderson home.
Investigators with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office say 41-year-old Brian Anthony Wardlaw was shot multiple times late Thursday night. Authorities say he made his way to a woman's house and banged on her door before collapsing on the front porch.
The woman called 911. Wardlaw was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities have not said how many times Wardlaw was shot or in what part of his body. No one has been charged, and deputies are still investigating.
