College of Charleston beats Citadel, 69-54

Willis Hall missed just one shot from the floor, finishing with 14 points to lead three players in double figures as the College of Charleston beat cross-town rival Citadel, 69-54, Thursday night before a crowd of about 3,500.

It was the sixth straight win in the series for the Cougars (13-7, 5-3 in SoCon), who snapped a two-game losing streak with the victory. The Bulldogs fell to 4-14 and 1-7.

The Cougars used a 10-1 run midway through the second half to break open a close game.

Andrew Lawrence finished with 12 points, while Anthony Stitt added 10 points.

The Bulldogs were led by Mike Groselle with 17 points and nine rebounds.
