Goose Creek opening spring registration for baseball, T-ball and softball
Registration for baseball, softball and T-ball will be open Jan. 29-Feb. 19 at the Goose Creek Community Center and the Casey Community Center.
All participants must have their birth certificates and two proofs of residency (driver’s license and a current utility bill). The cost is $45 per player. Players will receive a team shirt, pants, hat and socks. Players must provide their own gloves, shoes and batting helmets.
Baseball and T-ball ages are as of April 30, 2013: T-ball boys and girls, 4-5; Machine Pitch Single A, 6-7; Modified Machine Pitch/Kid Pitch Double A (7-year-olds must have played one year of Single A), 7-8; Minors, 9-10; Majors, 11-12; and Juniors, 13-15.
Softball age is as of Jan. 1, 2013. All softball leagues are fast pitch. Girls also may play in baseball leagues: Machine Pitch, 6-8; Minors, 9-10; Majors, 11-12.
